Promotional Resources

Presentations

For your convenience, ALA is now offering you the following presentations available for download. All presentations are updated twice a year and are in Microsoft® PowerPoint®. If you have any problems accessing the files or have any questions, please contact [email protected].

  • ALA Update: Latest information on ALA's programs, products, services and benefits.
  • Certification: Q&A presentation on all aspects of the Certified Legal Manager (CLM)® program.

The ALA Identity Standards Guidelines were developed to ensure that a common thread is present in all ALA communications. Refer to this document for information regarding proper use of the ALA name, logo, corporate colors and program names.

Chapter Promo Card Templates

ALA made templates that our chapters can use to create ready-to-print promotional cards to hand out at their events and share with prospective members and business partners. These promo cards are business-card-sized and can be easily printed by any print house. Use one of the templates below to create a promotional card for your chapter.

Social Media Guidelines

At ALA, we understand that social media can be a fun and rewarding way to share your Association involvement with family, friends and coworkers around the world. However, when you are in a position to represent ALA (such as creating and/or posting content through your chapter or committee account), use of social media also presents certain risks and carries with it certain responsibilities. To assist you in making responsible decisions about your use of social media, we have established guidelines.

ALA's Social Media Guidelines are intended for use by all members of ALA, but especially chapter presidents and other Association leaders, as members will look to you as an example. Please be sure to share this document with the chapter and committee members who curate your social media.

As a reminder, each issue of Just the Facts includes social media posts that your chapter can use. Contact [email protected] with any questions.
