Member Gamification
What Is Member Gamification?
Member Gamification is a fun and motivating way to recognize your involvement with ALA. As you engage with ALA through attending events, participating in discussions, volunteering and more, you'll earn points that reflect your activity. You'll also be able to see how your engagement compares to others through an interactive leaderboard, unlocking exclusive rewards and recognition along the way. The more you participate, the more you gain — it's that simple.
- All members will automatically be enrolled on August 1, 2025.
- Accumulate points August 1-March 31, 2026 (points reset April 1st annually and don't roll over).
- Leaderboard displays the top 100 engaged members (updated on the sixth business day of the month).
- You can search the leaderboard by last name, company or chapter
- Don't want to participate? To opt out, log in and visit the My Account page, where you can click the "My Preferences" tab and click to be opted out of the leaderboard.
- Once you reach a tier, ALA HQ will contact you with information to access your rewards. Utilize your rewards by March 31!
- To view the leaderboard, log in and visit the My Account page, where you can click the "Leaderboard" tab or select from the account menu.
