Sending Our Condolences

ALA is saddened by the passing of Nicole Dyson after a five-year battle with lung cancer. Nicole worked closely with ALA headquarters on behalf of Gallagher Affinity and our VIP partner UPS. We send our condolences to Nicole’s family and friends.

ALA also sadly received word that Sally Miller suddenly passed away in August. She was a member of the Arizona Chapter and a former member of the Tucson Chapter when it existed. We send our condolences to her siblings, children, grandchildren and friends.

ALA also regrets the passing of Brenda Homan. She was an active member of the Dallas Chapter — serving as Chapter President and on various ALA committees — until becoming sick in 2019. We send our condolences to her family and friends.  For more on Brenda’s life, read her obituary here. Donations can be made in her memory to Operation Kindness or any no-kill animal shelter.
