The Successful Firm Project and ALA: Focused on the Business of Law
Organizational best practices, subject matter experts, and some networking fun will lead to new dialogue and a collective approach to build The Successful Firm Playbook. This year requires new skill sets for client engagement, marketing, finance, and practice management.
Launched this spring, The Successful Firm Project is a professional network of law firm leaders, subject matter coaches and solution providers collaborating on what makes firms successful. Its participants — who are growing in number as the year goes on — are looking for and sharing creative ways to improve the business health of their firms today and in the future. The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), whose members specialize in the business of law, is a partner is this endeavor.
With the vacuum of in-person events developed over the past year, legal management teams need multiple destinations to discover what other organizations are doing to stay ahead of the evolving landscape of legal HR, finance, client development and technology. The Successful Firm Project will partner with ALA to deliver an interactive platform and program for firms to network with and learn from other legal management professionals and subject matter experts. Because ALA members play such a critical role in leading the business of law, The Successful Firm Project will be a valued added benefit as a part of their membership.
