  • May 24

In a recent Law360 article, "You Don't Need a JD Anymore To Get Paid Like a Partner," author Aebra Coe interviews ALA Past President Teresa Walker while also highlighting ALA's Compensation and Benefits Survey. Walker responds to how ALA's survey will reveal that Chief Information Officer pay will have risen as will Chief Operating Officers whose roles have increased with mergers and acquisition. "A key area that COOs are involved in more today than ever is looking at mergers and acquisitions and growth," Walker said.

The article also points to the how C-Suite pay in law firms has changed too. It highlights the growth of compensation for these positions, particularly from 2019 to 2020. Coe uses data from past ALA Compensation and Benefits Surveys to showcase this growth. Click here to read the full article.
