Planning Ahead for a Live Event
As we plan for an in-person Annual Conference & Expo this fall, the health, safety and well-being of our attendees remains our top priority. As new information is made available, we will enhance our preparation to comply with social distancing recommendations and to ensure a safe environment for all attendees. When you arrive at the event, you will see that a lot has changed.
The Austin Convention Center has achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, the Austin Convention Center Department has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention for the facility. All attendees will need to assert that at the time that they first attend the conference and for the 14 days prior:

We are closely monitoring industry best practices and will be evaluating further additional measures pertaining to vaccinations and on-site screening based on the advice of health authorities.
Facial Coverings In accordance with current guidelines for large gatherings, PPE or face coverings will be required by all individuals at all times while at the conference and inside Austin Convention Center buildings. As rules change and evolve, we will update this information and communicate to attendees.
