My Onsite Experience

Strike a balance with your career and health — each day you are faced with multiple projects, pending deadlines and various emergencies. How often do you take time for you? Discover options that help you find that middle ground and make time to breathe deeply.

Mind

Open you mind outside the education sessions and join ALA in the Exhibit Hall, in the two Recharge Lounges. One focuses on your career and the other on your health. Relax, charge your device, engage in conversation with colleagues, and learn things that help you expand your outlook.

Body

Feed your body with healthy choices on the buffets, balancing protein, fruits and veggies, and carbohydrates. Drink plenty of water; hotels are notoriously dry and we want you to stay hydrated.

Spirit

Refresh your spirit with exercise and fitness. Join us for yoga or a walk outside on Monday morning, Pilates or a walk Tuesday morning, and Zumba or a 5K run/walk Wednesday; all begin at 6 a.m.
