In 2021, ALA celebrated its 50th year as an Association. Since 1971, ALA has strived to provide excellent networking opportunities, professional development, educational sessions and resources to help members meet today's challenges. Celebrating 50 years of ALA Presidents

To commemorate our 50th Anniversary, we’ve assembled a parade of faces to document every one of our 50 Presidents. We even got as many of our Past Presidents as we could to “pass” a “gavel” through history, right on down to our current fearless leader, Debra Elsbury, CLM.
