Reminder: Help Select ALA's Future Leaders
ALA seeks volunteers to serve on two committees: the Association Nominating Committee (ANC), which is responsible for selecting individuals to serve on the Board of Directors, and the Regional Nominating Committee (RNC), which selects individuals to serve in Regional Officer positions. Individuals interested in serving on either the ANC or their region's RNC are asked to apply by March 22.

Update on Business Partner Relations

The Business Partner Relations Committee and Advisory Panel (BPRC/AP) are continuing their efforts to build, enhance and maintain mutually beneficial relationships among our organization, members and business partners — and are looking forward to the Annual Conference & Exposition in National Harbor, Maryland! The fourth annual Making Connections event, which brings together business partners and members, will take place on Wednesday, April 17 at the Conference. This is a great opportunity for our business partners to interact with ALA members and vice versa. Making Connections provides a forum for business partners to get to know members, ask questions regarding firms' purchasing strategies and service needs, and glean some advice on best practices for working with the legal community. Stay tuned for more information on Making Connections.

The leadership and members of the BPRC/AP for 2013-2014, who begin their term at the conclusion of the Annual Conference, have been announced. Janet Krause, CLM, will serve as Chair and Andy Logan will serve as Vice Chair. The committee will also welcome new members Nancy Dippolito and Shaun Morrison, who will begin a three-year term when they take their seats on the committee. Continuing their terms are Diane Fugalli, Cheri Meier and Laura Thompson.

The continuing BPAP representatives are Debbie Foster (Affinity Consulting Group), John Kuntz (Bellefield) and Mark Davey (Ricoh). Business partners joining the panel are Mike Moniz (ABA Retirement Funds), Rick Hellers (nQueue Billback) and Patrick Goodnow (Royal Cup Coffee).

The committee thanks Glenda Raley for her leadership and service as she wraps up her term as Chair. Also completing their service at the Annual Conference are Marty Gooding, CLM; Dan Berlin (Software Technology, Inc. / Tabs3 and PracticeMaster); Mike Laguitan (UPS); and Beth Thompson (BigHand).
