Association Nominating Committee
Description: The Association Nominating Committee (ANC) is responsible for selecting individuals for each vacant position on the Board of Directors in the coming year.
Committee Size: Twelve — one representative from each region, three at-large representatives and the currently seated President, President-Elect and Immediate Past President.
Term: 1 year
Appointments per year: 9
In-Person Meetings / Expectations: One per year (mid-November). ANC members are expected to perform extensive due diligence research on candidates, participate in one or more conference calls and attend a formal meeting to provide due diligence reports.
Eligibility: Except for the currently-seated President, President-Elect and Immediate Past President, ANC members cannot be currently serving on the Board of Directors or as a Regional Representative, nor can they be considered candidates for President-Elect, the Board of Directors, or Regional Representative positions during their term on the ANC. Except for the currently-seated President, President-Elect and Immediate Past President, ANC members shall not have served on the Board of Directors during the three years prior to appointment to the ANC.
