Post-Conference Summary
The combined Regions 1 & 2 Educational Conference & Exposition this year focused on disseminating the skills and information vital to manage any challenge in a law firm or legal department.
Thursday morning began with a motivating Keynote Address by Dr. Eric Cupp on "Farsighted Leadership in a Nearsighted World." He highlighted areas where strong leadership skills are nonnegotiable for legal administrators. After all, who better to contribute to the firm's current success and future well-being than the administrator?
Twenty-four sessions in all covered topics as diverse as "Web 2.0 and Social Networking," "Personal Data: It's Confidential," and "Marketing Initiatives That Have Legs in the New Economy." From beginning to end, the educational sessions provided the tools for participants to leave prepared, well informed, and connected to build an even stronger firm and future. By now attendees should be making a difference at their firm or organization.
