Judith A. Hissong, CLM is the Principal of Nesso Strategies. Nesso is the Italian word for
connection, and her business is connecting the human and financial strategies of law firms. She facilitates retreats, coaches individuals and groups, and consults with small firm
administrators to develop leadership skills. She considers her business to be maximizing human potential. She is a frequent ALA speaker, and previously served in a variety of ALA
leadership roles, including a seat on the ALA Board of Directors. Hissong has a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Masters' Degree in Sport Management.
Stephen M. (Pete) Peterson is the CEO of the advisory firm Maxfield Peterson and is the
Managing Director of the firm's specialty practice, the Law Firm Business Institute. Prior to this, he was the COO for Hildebrandt International, the CFO and Director of
Administration for an international law firm and the CFO for a regional law firm. He counsels firms on strategy, mergers & acquisitions, compensation, governance, and profitability.
Peterson is also an adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Legal Administration program at the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law and a Fellow in the College of
Law Practice Management since 2008.
Lorri T. Salyards, CLM is Executive Director of Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, LLP.
She has more than 20 years of experience in legal administration and has served in various ALA leadership roles. Salyards is a published author in the ALA Management
EncyclopediaSM, The Colorado Lawyer, and ALA News. She is an Adjunct Professor in the University of Denver Sturm College of Law's Master of Science in
Legal Administration program, was a Scholar in the Lagos Business School Programme for Law Firm Owners & Managers, and was admitted as a Fellow to the College of Law Practice Management
Ronald L. Seigneur, CPA/ABV/CFF, ASA, CGMA, CVA, is Managing Partner of Seigneur Gustafson LLP CPAs,
based in Lakewood, Colorado, where he is responsible for financial forensics, economic damages assessments, business and intellectual property valuation, exit planning and related litigation
support services. He has been an adjunct professor at the University of Denver, College of Law for more than 20 years, where he teaches law firm finance, leadership and management classes.
Seigneur, formerly a legal administrator for a 50-attorney Denver firm, has consulted with more than 300 professional services firms on a wide range of practice management related issues.
Rachel Schaming, Director of Human Resources and a Corporate Coach at Radiology Ltd, is a senior human
resource professional with more than 30 years of proven success in leading people, processes, systems and cultures in innovative change initiatives. Her career includes human resource and
organizational development positions at NASA/Houston, the Texas Medical Center/Houston, two New York City law firms and a technology company. Schaming is a Past President of the Association
of Legal Administrators and a member of SHRM and the International Coach Federation, and a fellow in the ABA Law Practice Management Section.
