ALA's 13th Annual Silent Auction
ALA’s 13th Annual Silent Auction, held in conjunction with ALA’s 37th
Annual Conference and Exposition, May 5-8, 2008, will showcase a variety of items that are
generously donated by you! ALA chapters, individuals and our legal vendors have the opportunity
to participate in this fun and valuable event designed especially to benefit the ongoing efforts of the Foundation
of the Association of Legal Administrators (FALA).
The opportunity for your donation to appear on the ALA Silent Auction “Sneak Peek”
(a preview of the auction items on the ALA Web site) depends on you! Photos of all contributions received
prior to the deadline date of Monday, April 8, 2008, will be featured on the Web site, along with the names
of the contributors. In addition, there will be recognition in the auction brochure and signage in Seattle, as well
as in a post-conference issue of ALA News.
While we hope you can join us for the 37th Annual Educational Conference & Exposition in
Seattle, Washington, attendance is not necessary to make a contribution to
the Silent Auction.
FALA
Your participation in the ALA Annual Silent Auction will give FALA the opportunity to support the
goals of legal administrators and promote the legal management industry. FALA is the nonprofit, charitable organization,
education and research affiliate of ALA, dedicated to supporting activities that advance legal management and service
to the legal profession and community. FALA’s primary goals include developing and presenting educational programs,
researching the changing legal workplace and workforce, and increasing awareness of the value of professional law firm
administrators. Please visit www.alanet.org for
more information.
Donations
Many people ask, “What should I donate to the auction?” You or your chapter can donate any new item that
will entice the bidders! This is the perfect opportunity to use your imagination!
