Sponsored in part by Robert Half Legal
Venture into Washington, D.C. with your colleagues and enjoy an evening—exclusive to ALA!—at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.
The Museum collects and preserves more than 3 million artifacts—all true national treasures. From the original Star-Spangled Banner and Abraham Lincoln's top hat to Dizzy Gillespie's angled trumpet and Dorothy's ruby slippers from "The Wizard of Oz," the museum's collections form a fascinating mosaic of American life and comprise the greatest single collection of American history.
A full buffet dinner will be available throughout the evening, as well as an open bar. You can also dance to the sounds of the B Street Band, a tribute and cover band featuring some of the best in American rock music. The gift shop will be open so you can bring home some American history to remember your evening and share with family, friends and coworkers.
