Cancellation Policies

Conference Attendees
Please allow up to four weeks for approved refunds to be processed. No refunds will be approved for no-shows. Cancellations must be made in writing to ALA Headquarters and received or postmarked according to the following schedule:

  • Conference Registrations
    On or before Friday, March 8, 2013 ........ Full refund, less $250 handling fee
    Between March 9 and March 22, 2013 ...... 50% refund
    After March 22, 2013 ......................... No refund will be issued

    Guest Tickets

    On or before Monday, March 22, 2013 ..... Full refund, less $50 handling fee
    After March 22, 2013 ......................... No refund will be issued

Substitutions

A substitution from the registrant's organization is permitted for a $95 administrative fee. The substitute's registration fee will be adjusted if a nonmember replaces an ALA member.
